They came to Murramarang

The new edition of the original history book of Murramarang, Kioloa and Bawley Point by Bruce Hamon, is now available for ordering. Alaistair Greig liaised closely with Bruce before he passed away and with his daughter Margret to update the book. Additional chapters were added by Alaistair and Sue Feary, to cover the history of the aboriginal people of the area and to bring up to present day the changes and development in the area.

The original book went out of publication many years ago but since then visitors, students and academics have asked local businesses if they can still purchase a copy. Now this gap will be filled and the book with the new chapters may be enjoyed by many people, thus providing insight into how one beautiful small area of Australia with its once incredible indigenous history, important timber industry and farms, developed, survived, crumbled and altered since early European settlement in the area.

If you would like to purchase the book, please fill out the order form (pdf 800KB) to order your copy.
